SAMPLE RENTAL AGREEMENT

CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT

Check-In time is after 3:00 PM

Check-Out time is at 10:00 AM

* No early check-in or late check-out.  Late departure will cause a backup in our cleaning schedule and an additional cleaning surcharge.  Renters are not evicted by the owner (or representative of the owner), the local law enforcement and/or the security company employed by Sea Tag Condos will evict renters.

WHAT TO BRING:

  • Paper products (toilet paper, paper towels, napkins)

  • Beach chairs and/or beach blankets if needed.

  • Cooking ingredients

  • Dishwasher and dish soap, laundry soap, bath soap

WHAT WE PROVIDE

  • Clean sheets, towels, and washcloths

  • Several kitchen towels

  • One (1) roll of toilet paper, one (1) paper towel roll, and one (1) trash bag to get you started.  

RENTAL RULES

  • This is a non-smoking unit.

  • No grilling on balcony areas.  Grilling at the grassy area near the water is permitted.  Permanent grills are for guests’ use.

  • No loud noise, music, or parties.

  • Floating dock is for guests' boats only.

  • Sea Tag Condominium parking lot is for renters' vehicles and their short-term visitors.  Each unit has one (1)  pre-designated parking spot.  A second guest vehicle can be parked along the back-side of the parking lot.

  • Pets are not permitted in rental unit.  If pets are detected, you will be asked to leave immediately, without completion of your vacation or any refund given. 

  • Relax and enjoy your stay!.

 

DAMAGE / RESERVATION DEPOSIT

 

A deposit of $200 is required.  This must be received within seven (7) days of booking the reservation.  The deposit automatically converts to a security / damage deposit upon arrival.  The deposit is NOT applied towards rent; however, it is fully refundable within (14) days of departure, provided the following provisions are met.

  • The deposit may be waived for guests after (3) reservations, who return annually and always leave the condo in great condition.

  • No damage done to unit or its contents, beyond normal wear and tear.

  • Departure procedures are followed and unit is left in an acceptable state for housekeeper.

  • No items are missing.

 

CANCELLATIONS

 

Travelers who cancel at least 60 days before check-in will get back 100% of the amount they've paid. If they cancel after that point, they will not get a refund.  The owners will be as flexible as possible in helping the renters find another available date if the original one becomes unavailable. 

OCCUPANCY

 

The maximum number of guests is five (5).  This property requires a two (2) night minimum stay.  Longer minimum stays may be required during holidays and peak season.  

 

MAID SERVICE

 

Daily maid service is not provided.  If you need additional maid service during your stay, please let us know three weeks in advance and we will try to arrange that for you at an additional fee. 

 

FALSIFIED RESERVATIONS

 

Any reservation obtained under false pretense will be subject to forfeiture of 
advance payment, deposit and/or rental money, and the party will not be permitted to check-in.

 

WRITTEN EXCEPTIONS

 

Any exceptions to the above mentioned policies must be approved in writing in advance.

 

STORM POLICY

 

NO refunds will be given, however a reschedule of vacation time will be offered if: 

  • When the National Weather Service issues mandatory evacuation orders for Chincoteague Island that coincides with any portion of the rental period, the renter may reschedule his/her rental period.  Monies paid will not be refunded but will be applied to the subsequent rental period.

I agree that all rental monies are non-refundable per cancellation policy above.  By signing below, I agree to
